Welcome to CAMU Connections!
   
     CAMU Connections is the website for the Colorado Association of Municipal Utilities.  CAMU is a non-profit organization that represents the 32 cities and towns throughout Colorado that own and operate their own electric and natural gas systems.   CAMU is a source for legislative representation, training and information for its members.

 
     There are 29 municipal electric systems and seven municipal gas systems operating within the state of Colorado. In combination these municipal utilities serve a population base of approximately 815,000 Colorado residents, about 19% of the state population. Colorado Springs is the state’s largest municipally owned utility. Fleming is the smallest.
