The primary mission of the Colorado Association of Municipal Utilities is to represent the interests of municipal electric systems at the Colorado State Legislature in a professional, nonpartisan manner.
To accomplish this mission, CAMU employs a full time lobbyist who works with CAMU's legislative committee to draft and advance legislation and legislative amendments; prepare and deliver testimony before key committees; and professionally engage each member of the Legislature to ensure that Public Power remains strong in Colorado.
